Trees Please Hamilton

Green Solutions to Air Pollution

Walk about, and Program Launch

Spring is here! The weather is warming up, and the trees are starting to bud! We had an excellent walk about this past weekend along the Beach Strip. Highlights included Beach history and community insight from Jim Howlett,  a tour of Windermere Park, political insight from ward 5 councillor Chad Collins and a great crowd! Participants came from all over the city! In addition we were able to collect valuable air quality data and demonstrate tree inventory protocols along the way.

Next up is our launch! This Earth Day Join us at the United Way at 177 Rebecca St where we ceremonially plant a tree with the Mayor, MPP Ted McMeekin, and MPP Andrea Horwath. Check our events page for details!

We are also starting to schedule our inventory walks, they will be regular 3-4 times a week.

Keep your eyes on the Buds!
